The Narmada
Daily, thousands of pilgrims come to seek her blessings. The light, the river and the stone create a naturally silent atmosphere - not created, but already present.

In his discourses he often spoke of the marble rocks of Bhedaghat, saying that in the light of the full moon they may be among the most beautiful places in the world. It is here, in this landscape shaped by silence, river and stone, that Osho Home Ashram has taken root.
The ashram rests near the Narmada River, with its white geodesic Buddha Hall and a warm, supportive space for body, mind and inner balance - with a swimming pool and a lush garden to rest, breathe and be.
On 21 March 1953, Osho became enlightened under a bodhi tree in Jabalpur. Many more saints have meditated where the holy Narmada flows - Meher Baba, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Guru Nanak, Kabir, Gouraknath Baba.
